Dr. Roberto Miki and Dr. Daniel Alfonso, formerly with the Miami Hand Center, have started their own practice with two new locations. Dr. Roberto Miki and Dr. Daniel Alfonso have created their new practice with patient satisfaction as their goal. Dr. Miki and Dr. Alfonso will continue to bring their expertise to their treatment of hand and upper extremity conditions but also concentrate on coupling this with excellent customer service at the office level.

Abstract. A prospective randomized trial was conducted to assess the difference in the rate of osteoporosis treatment when an in-house assessment of osteoporosis was initiated by the orthopedic surgeon and follow-up was conducted in a specialized orthopedic osteoporosis clinic compared with osteoporosis and usual care.
